Eldritch Rite were a Texas progress-power-metal band who recorded one demo at Pantego Studios with Dimebag Darrell's father in 1986. This young band opened up for Watchtower, Rigor Mortis, Talon, and Powerlord (OK) as the North Texas metal scene grew with such bands as Rotting Corpse, Pantera, and Solitude Aeturnus.
